We believe that essential oils are provided by the Lord to support our health and well-being.
The Lord is our wisdom, protector and healer.

1. This morning I banged my knee hard on the handle of a kitchen drawer. If there is such a thing as a "crazy bone" in the knee as in the elbow, well, I hit it! Anyway, I immediately reached for the DeepEase Spray. There was an indentation where my knee hit the handle and it was already turning black/blue in that area. I applied the spray and rubbed it in. When I went back to apply more EO in about 30 minutes, there was no discoloration, but it still hurt quite a bit. Still applying the EOs periodically but the pain is much less now. DeepEase is definitely a blend we try to always have on hand! UPDATE: Although it was much improved, I applied another application before bed last night. This morning I forgot I'd banged it at all! It isn't even tender to the touch. I did apply one more time for good measure though. - Susie

2. My four year old gets growing pains quite often and pretty severely at times. Before I found oils, I always used homeopathic Calc Phos 30X, and it helped a lot. With oils, she finds relief a bit faster so I mainly use those now. My main-stay has been a doctored-up Ouch! diluted at 25% in a roll on bottle so it is always ready to go and easy to use in the middle of the night when she wakes up from her pain. (By doctored-up, I added a little Copaiba to the Ouch! blend.)  It helps her so much - usually in about 5 minutes. She calms down right away because she knows the pain will soon be relieved. Most recently I tried the DeepEase Spray on her, and that also worked excellently. She also gets plenty of powder magnesium (for potty issues) as mentioned by some others, but that doesn't seem to be enough to keep the growing pains at bay for her. I may have to add extra calcium or minerals as also mentioned. - Brenda

Safety
Carrot Seed Caution for Pregnancy: Tisserand/Young note that Carrot Seed oil may interfere with gestation: "On the basis of Chinese research, we advise avoidance of carrot seed oil during pregnancy. However the quantities of essential oil used were very high, and an NOAEL for reproductive toxicity may yet be established."

Avoid contact with the eyes and other sensitive areas. Essential oils are both lipophilic and hydrophobic. Lipophilic means they are attracted to fat— like the membranes of your eyes and skin. They are also hydrophobic, meaning they do not like water. Applying a carrier oil will create another fat for the essential oil to be attracted to other than the membranes of the eyes or skin. Tisserand suggests: "With essential oils, fatty oil has been suggested as an appropriate first aid treatment, though the advantage of saline [eyewash] is that the eyes can be continually flushed, and this is less easy with fatty oil.” We are not aware of a case where essential oil in the eyes caused permanent injury or long-term discomfort, but if you feel concerned, please call your health care provider.
