1. I wanted to write and let you know that last week I had the worst headache I have ever had in my life, without exaggeration!  I was sure I was going to die at any moment from a blood vessel exploding or something. My daughter found me curled up in the lounge chair barely able to move or talk and rubbed Headache Relief on my forehead and temples. Within 15 - 20 minutes I was back to normal. Thanks for all your hard work and research that helps so many people. - T.I.

2. I just love this blend for headaches – even migraines. I apply it liberally to my temples and the back of my neck. If I can find someone to rub my back, this is the oil I choose. – Joe

3. Don’t just use this one for headaches; it’s also great for any ache or pain. – Lee

4. I love to diffuse this oil. It helps when I feel stuffy or if I just want to freshen up my bedroom. Sometimes I mix a few drops in a cup of Epsom Salt and add it to my hot bath water. Wonderful! – Anna

5. I'm so excited that I got my oils in the mail today!  I've been having a headache all day.  I put some Headache Relief on my temples, and then I put Peppermint oil on my tongue.  I have to say, within minutes the headache has actually subsided!  How AMAZING these products are!  I've been on Tylenol for my headaches for a long, long time.  Can't believe I found a natural alternative that really works! – Sheri

6. I love Headache Relief! I get really bad headaches sometimes, but I do not like to take medication to get rid of them. Sometimes the headaches are so bad that I can't properly take care of my children. I had a headache like that the other day, and my son asked if I wanted to try some of my essential oil. I am glad he mentioned it; my headache was so bad that I wasn't thinking correctly. I rubbed some Headache Relief on my temples, and within 10-15 minutes I was feeling better. A little later my headache was completely gone!  This is an incredible blend. Once again, I stand in awe of the way the Lord has created things to provide relief for His people. – RaShell

7. A friend's young son was seriously ill with a severe headache on Friday. He was screaming and vomiting, after a doctor's appointment and Lyme Disease is expected. I don't have your Headache Relief blend, but I have Peppermint and Lavender. I gave my friend a little of both in case his headache returned. It did. She tried it, and his headache immediately relieved his pain! He was able to go right to sleep. Thank you for such a high quality product! She'll be ordering from you soon. :-) - Leticia

8. I used Headache Relief, and for the first time ever for a migraine that it didn't turn into a full blown migraine. It stayed at a dull ache instead, which is a HUGE improvement. Nothing I have taken has ever helped that much. I rubbed it on my temples, behind my ears and at the back of my neck every few hours. - Angel

9. I was very hesitant to try the headache blend for my migraines. I assumed that it would not work since conventional medicine does not work. I recently gave it a try, and much to my surprise it stopped my "aura" within 25 minutes and never turned into a full blown migraine. Thank you so much!  - April

10. This is my all time favorite oil blend! It works miracles on my headaches! The first time I heard of it was when someone in a theater used it, I smelled it and my 3-day-long headache went away! Wonderful blend! - Cindi

11. Headache relief always works instantly for my headaches, regardless of the cause. - Barb

12. I get pressure headaches due to weather changes and I use Headache Relief. - Stacy

13. This sounds silly, but eating about 15 raw almonds is known to help with bad headaches. Apparently there is a compound found in almonds that acts like a pain reliever. - Satin

14. I had headache last night and Headache Relief came to the rescue. It's also great for migraines, which I get severely (the kind where you vomit and can't stand light, etc). It *truly* works.  I had to reapply every 2 hours, but it was very effective. I apply it on my forehead, temples and under my nose. It works literally within 1 minute. 1 minute! It's amazing stuff. I have Imitrex injections for when the migraine is intractable, but I can't remember the last time I had to resort to that, which is a massive improvement. Before, I was using 2-3 injections a month.  - Ami

15. Headache Relief... it is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!! One of my favorites for sure!!! - Tara

14. I was also suffering from a severe migraine earlier. I recently had surgery and I can't take anything except Tylenol for pain. I applied a drop of Headache Relief to my temples and I am already feeling much better. - Susan

15. We have found Headache Relief to be so helpful! Whenever one of us feels a headache coming on, all we have to do is rub diluted Headache Relief over the forehead, behind the ears and down the sides of the neck and in the back of the neck and it completely takes the headache away! We also always make sure to drink lots of water and eat if we haven’t already. A few times I’ve had the headache come back after a little while, but re-applying it brings relief once again. Thank you, Lord, for the relief You’ve provided! - Katy

16. Ravintsara and Lime are my favorites if the pressure change causes sinus headaches. When my whole head hurts I use ice packs on my head and essential oil in an inhaler. - Diane

17. For barometric pressure change headaches, I put ice packs on my neck and head. At the same time, I put my feet in really warm water (as hot as I can take). I put a little bit of Frankensence on my tongue (not even a drop). Headache Relief helps me more than PainX at times. I usually put that on my temples or on my neck. I have also used Tiger Balm at times. - Rhoda

Safety
CAUTION for Children: Essential oils high in 1,8-cineole (Eucalyptus) or menthol (Peppermint) can cause CNS and breathing problems in young children, and should not be applied to or near their faces under ten years of age (Tisserand, pages 656-657, 273). Tisserand writes: "Any oil with 40% or more 1,8-cineole should not be applied to the face of infants or children or otherwise inhaled by them" (page 109). Appropriately diluted for the child, the blend will fall well-within the range of safe use, as it would contain far less than 40% 1,8-cineole. Regarding inhalation/diffusing, Tisserand writes: "For children of 5 years old or less, direct inhalation should be avoided. Direct inhalation includes inhaling essential oils from the hands, a cotton ball, a nasal inhaler, a bowl of hot water or similar. Indirect, or ambient inhalation, is safe for young children, and includes any method that vaporizes essential oils into the air (page 658).”

Birch: Dermal, Inhalation and Internal Caution: Anticoagulant medication, major surgery, hemophilia and other bleeding disorders, pregnancy, nursing, children and people with salicylate sensitivity, which may apply to people with ADD/ADHD (Tisserand page 215).

Internal Caution: Large doses of Birch can be toxic. 5mls of Birch is equal to approximately 21 aspirin (300 mg tablets). Large amounts taken orally can cause ringing in the ears, nausea, vomiting, headache, stomach pain and confusion. Tisserand notes that the maximum adult daily oral dose is 182mg, which would be less than .2mL. Oral Caution: GERD disease.

May be irritating to those with sensitive skin.

Avoid contact with the eyes and other sensitive areas. Essential oils are both lipophilic and hydrophobic. Lipophilic means they are attracted to fat— like the membranes of your eyes and skin. They are also hydrophobic, meaning they do not like water. Applying a carrier oil will create another fat for the essential oil to be attracted to other than the membranes of the eyes or skin. Tisserand suggests: "With essential oils, fatty oil has been suggested as an appropriate first aid treatment, though the advantage of saline [eyewash] is that the eyes can be continually flushed, and this is less easy with fatty oil.” We are not aware of a case where essential oil in the eyes caused permanent injury or long-term discomfort, but if you feel concerned, please call your health care provider.
