This is a mild blend that usually does not cause any discomfort when applied appropriately diluted to cuts and scrapes.

Topical Caution: Hypersensitive, diseased or damaged skin.To avoid skin sensitization risk, do not use old and oxidized oils.

Inhalation: Diffuse or use a personal Nasal Inhaler. Diffusing 15 to 30 minutes every 3 to 4 hours helps to freshen and purify the home or work environment.

Internal: Purify is suitable for internal use within safe parameters if such use is deemed appropriate. The maximum daily oral dose during pregnancy is 7 drops. We feel that internal use is rarely *needed* and should only be used with respect for how concentrated the oils are. HEO does not advocate internal use of essential oils without appropriate knowledge and understanding of how to administer, for what purpose, how much, which essential oils, safety concerns and so on. In our experience, essential oils are generally more effective used topically with proper dilution or inhaled. Kurt Schnaubelt, Ph.D. notes that "French aromatherapy literature contains many references to using oils orally." He goes on to note that "generally 1 drop is always enough when ingesting essential oils." A potential toxicity hazard could occur when untrained people use essential oils orally and ingest too much.Keep in mind that while medical doctors or health care practitioners may prescribe essential oils for internal use, they are trained and experienced in the safe application of essential oils. It is not a matter of using "French" or "British" methods, it's a matter of experience and appropriate application. Click here for information about internal usage.

Purify is contraindicated Orally: Anticoagulant, Antidepressants (CYP2B6 substrates, Diabetes medication); Childbirth, Major Surgery, Peptic Ulcer, Hemophilia

1. I purchased a second-hand car that had been smoked in. It was the worst I’d ever experienced in a smoker’s car. I ran my diffuser with Purify in the car overnight, and the next morning there was not a hint of cigarette smoke. Wow! – J.A.

2. I live in a moldy home. I diffuse Purify to keep the air as pure as possible, and my health issues have improved. – M.N.

3. I think I've always been plagued with foot odor, and I've tried many different remedies, nothing of which worked for long. I was using Purify one day to clean my bathroom and decided to try it for my foot odor. I put a few drops in the palm of my hand and applied to the bottom and top of my feet. Naturally the odor was transformed, but what was amazing was that they didn't smell in the morning either. Now I use it every day after my shower and have not had stinky feet since!

4. My daughter rooms with a gal who has really stinky feet. She feels badly for her because she knows she is embarrassed about it and has tried lots of products that don't work. I sent my daughter a little sample of Purify for the girl to try. She sprinkled it in her shoes and rubbed it all over her feet every morning. Now when she comes in and takes off her shoes, there's no odor! She is very pleased to say the least!

5. I've had sweaty feet all my life. I even used antiperspirants on the bottoms of my feet. I read the testimonies about Purify and decided to try it. It cured both the sweaty feet and odor. All I do is apply a few drops to the bottoms of my feet after my morning shower.

6. A few months ago I had a chemotherapy treatment which consisted of 3 doses of FEC and 3 doses of Taxotere. Typically this treatment causes the fingernails to become ugly looking and many fall completely, which is painful. During the time of my treatment, I rubbed one drop of Purify oil on my nails, twice a day. Instead of becoming ugly and falling off, they actually became much stronger and grew faster during that time then ever before.

7. Purify is amazing. We went hiking this afternoon, and when I got home I had an itchy, painful, red rash all over the tops of my feet. I used Purify with coconut oil and all symptoms were gone shortly after. A couple hours later the same rash showed up on my arm, and the coconut oil/Purify cleared it up again in less than 10 minutes. - Angel

8. Purify is doing wonders for family members with stinky feet. Thank you! - Jacquelyn

9. Purify is AMAZING! My grandson threw up (sour milk) in my daughters car. We placed one drop on a cotton ball in the car seat and one drop on a cotton ball placed in the A/C vent. Ran the A/C for a little while and VOILA! Smell was gone! - Robin

10. I recently discovered that the Purify blend makes an excellent paint remover! Even oil based paint that usually required paint thinner or mineral spirits to remove. I love that I can use Purify instead!! It smells wonderful and I don't have to worry about toxicity in me or the kids! I've also discovered that it is a great bug repellent on me! - Leigh

11. Purify works really well for smoke smell. I put a couple of drops on a cardboard and placed it in the car, and it works really well. Don't go overboard on the number of drops, though, or it is overwhelming in such a small space. If you have a minivan, I'd put one or two drops on two small cardboards and put one in the front and one near the back. If you put in at night, the smell should be gone by morning. - Laurie

12. I suffer from a nasty sinus infection every few years. After 3 days of a sinus headache with medication not helping at all, I decided to look on your Hopewell website. I saw that someone used Purify swabbed in the nose. I did this twice a day for 3-4 days, and my sinus infection is completely gone :) I am so thankful to be relieved of the pressure!! It felt better the first day, but it kept coming back each morning. By the 3rd day I no longer had pressure, and by the 4th all my symptoms were gone. So thankful! - Brittany

13. We got a new RV that smelled very toxic (new man-made materials). We only had it a week before our trip, and I felt desperate to do what I could to deal with the off-gassing. I diffused Purify 24/7 until I ran out, and then I diffused Citrus Quench, which is one of our family's favorites. This seemed to help a lot. I continued to diffuse Citrus Quench everytime we stopped and set up the RV. - Linda

14. We have used Lung Support and Purify for issues with smoke. One time when the fireplace backed up and filled the house with smoke, it was amazing how quickly diffusing helped with air quality! Also, where we live now, people can burn leaves, which makes it hard for me to breathe. I have kept a sample size of Purify with me when I've taken a walk and encountered someone burning. A dab on my collar makes a world of difference! Same thing if I encounter someone with perfume. - Susie

15. I put Purify to draw out splinters and glass slivers. I put a drop on a cotton ball and hold that over the area for about 5 minutes, then it usually easily lifts out. If not, I cover with a bandaid overnight and try in the morning. - Susan

Safety
Dermal Caution due to Lemongrass: Repeated use can possibly result in contact sensitization. Can be irritating to sensitive skin.

Avoid contact with the eyes and other sensitive areas. Essential oils are both lipophilic and hydrophobic. Lipophilic means they are attracted to fat— like the membranes of your eyes and skin. They are also hydrophobic, meaning they do not like water. Applying a carrier oil will create another fat for the essential oil to be attracted to other than the membranes of the eyes or skin. Tisserand suggests: "With essential oils, fatty oil has been suggested as an appropriate first aid treatment, though the advantage of saline [eyewash] is that the eyes can be continually flushed, and this is less easy with fatty oil.” We are not aware of a case where essential oil in the eyes caused permanent injury or long-term discomfort, but if you feel concerned, please call your health care provider.
