Testimonies 1. Confession time…I got myself addicted to Afrin nose spray. I know…I know. I was desperate. I am days away from delivering a baby, and I have 4 small children--I needed to be able to breathe!! Lung Healing, Respiratory Relief, Bacteria Top Gun, etc.…all of the usuals were "working" but not providing the immediate relief of just a couple of sprays of Afrin. I knew it was wrong, but once I got started, "just one day" turned into a week! Well, yesterday was "D-Day"--I was done! So, I followed the instructions on the Nasal Sprayer page of HEO--specifically the Hydrogen Peroxide Spray followed by the EO Nasal Spray (I used 5 drops of Eucalyptus radiata, 5 drops of Lavender and 1 drop of Peppermint--and it took my breath away!). Well, I am breathing very clearly on my own this morning. NO ISSUES!!! I will continue for a few more days and then will probably move toward a homemade saline spray, but thanks be to God for HEOs and Linda's wisdom on the website!!! - Christy 2. This is a recipe I used with good success: 1/2 oz Recipe A few drops of a mild essential oil such as Myrtle or Lavender (my husband adds a smidgen of Peppermint, which can sting, so beware) [HEO's comment: Hydrosols are preferred over essential oils] 1 TB water filtered and boiled 15 minutes to eliminate any amoebas (not tap water) Shake well ~ two sprays into each nostril Avoid blowing the nose of at least 5 minutes, and then blow very gently
