Nux Vomica Homeopathic Remedy - 4 dram | 30c | ~ 900 count of 2.5mm pellets

Made from the seeds of the Nux vomica tree found in East India, Burma, Thailand, China and Northern Australia.
Active ingredient: Nux vomica [HPUS]. Inactive ingredients: Sucrose/lactose pellets.

Indicated for vomiting, anger/temper, constipation, indigestion, irritability. Nux vomica is a homeopathic remedy is many times indicated for patients who are very fastidious, very careful, amd are inclined to get angry or excited easily. Other indications include over sensitiveness, where even a harmless word offends, every little noise frightens and the patient is anxious and beside themselves. Patients tend to be chilly and very sensitive to drafts and cold air. There can be frequent and ineffectual desire for stool or only a little is passed at a time. Worse from uncovering and at 9:00AM. Better in wet weather, warm room and covering up. 

• Open homeopathic bottles in a room without essential oil or other aromas present and administer the pellets there. If we are going to also use essential oils, we will wait about 30 minutes and then apply essential oils topically. If we take essential oils internally, we prefer to have a space of 2 hours between the essential oil use and taking the homeopathic remedy. Preferably, the homeopathic remedy is taken first.
• You want your palate to be “clean” in the sense that it is free from aromatics. Avoid strong aromas such as mint, camphor, eucalyptus, tea tree, onion, garlic and so on. You may inadvertently antidote a homeopathic remedy, neutralize it or render it useless with particularly strong odors. We typically separate homeopathic use with strong aromatic use about 30 minutes topically and 2 hours orally if possible.
• Dose is usually about 3 pellets (no worries if you get more - this does not increase the effect and is not harmful). Homeopathic pellets are generally taken orally under the tongue or in the cheek until dissolved. 
• Usually one would not take a remedy more than 3-5 times in a 24-hour period. In many cases, we will take a dose, and if the symptoms improve, then we don't take another dose until the symptoms return, thus we allow our body to indicate when and if we need another dose.
• If the remedy does not ease the condition after 3 doses (no closer than 15 minutes apart), we re-evaluate and try a different remedy. 
• Many times the "right" remedy will ease symptoms within 20 minutes. 
• We typically don't try more than 3 remedies without consulting someone trained in homeopathy or our homeopathic book resources.
• Illnesses may go through stages. It may be necessary to change remedies as the symptom picture changes. In this way, we are “chasing symptoms” until the illness is resolved.

1. Years before I knew about using essential oils I had a reoccuring bout with a large, single kidney stone. The pains came and went for a couple of years. An osteopath we used suggested that I take Nux Vomica homeopathic remedy when I felt the pain coming on. He said that he felt this would help the muscles to relax so that the stone could move on out. The next time I felt the pain coming on, I did as he said. Within 15-20 minutes, the pain eased. It never went away, but it eased enough that I could walk around and function. When the pain came back (within a couple hours), I'd take a few more pellets of the Nux Vomica. 2. I took Nux Vomica for symptoms related to the illness going around in 2021 (deeply fatigued; no energy with slight feeling in the throat that things were not quite right). I'd had major sleep issues where I could go to sleep initially, but then I'd awaken about 3AM and not be able to go back to sleep. With one dose of Nux the fatigue left AND restored my sleep issues.
