Rhus toxicodendron is made from the poison ivy plant.
Active ingredient: Rhus toxicodendron [HPUS]. Inactive ingredients: Sucrose/lactose pellets.

Rhus Tox Homeopathic Remedy may support, aid, ease, soothe, reduce, calm, relax, promote and/or maintain healthy function.
Arthritic pain

Indicated for better with motion, blisters, itching, poison ivy and minor arthritic pain that is better from motion and worse in cold, damp conditions. It is the #1 remedy commonly used to ease poison ivy rashes. Other indications include: rash that begins with many small blisters, is red and intensly itchy, great restlessness with any pain, lameness or stiffness on beginning to move, worse during sleep and rest, better with warmth and change of position. Relived by hot baths or hot, wet compresses. Restlessness makes the person want to pace the room or constantly move around. (See Byonia if the opposite is true.)

• Open homeopathic bottles in a room without essential oil or other aromas present and administer the pellets there. If we are going to also use essential oils, we will wait about 30 minutes and then apply essential oils topically. If we take essential oils internally, we prefer to have a space of 2 hours between the essential oil use and taking the homeopathic remedy. Preferably, the homeopathic remedy is taken first.
• You want your palate to be “clean” in the sense that it is free from aromatics. Avoid strong aromas such as mint, camphor, eucalyptus, tea tree, onion, garlic and so on. You may inadvertently antidote a homeopathic remedy, neutralize it or render it useless with particularly strong odors. We typically separate homeopathic use with strong aromatic use about 30 minutes topically and 2 hours orally if possible.
• Dose is usually about 3 pellets (no worries if you get more - this does not increase the effect and is not harmful). Homeopathic pellets are generally taken orally under the tongue or in the cheek until dissolved.
• Usually one would not take a remedy more than 3-5 times in a 24-hour period. In many cases, we will take a dose, and if the symptoms improve, then we don't take another dose until the symptoms return, thus we allow our body to indicate when and if we need another dose.
• If the remedy does not ease the condition after 3 doses (no closer than 15 minutes apart), we re-evaluate and try a different remedy. 
• Many times the "right" remedy will ease symptoms within 20 minutes. 
• We typically don't try more than 3 remedies without consulting someone trained in homeopathy or our homeopathic book resources.
• Illnesses may go through stages. It may be necessary to change remedies as the symptom picture changes. In this way, we are “chasing symptoms” until the illness is resolved.
