Below are the basic components of the Sweet Rose Skin Cream, and they all support healthy skin anywhere on the body. The average comedogenic rating is 1-2, which is “low” and only has a very slight chance that it will clog skin pores. Comedogenic: The tendency to block skin pores. We look for a low comedogenic rating, especially for products we use on our faces.
Aloe Vera: not comedogenic if used with non-comedogenic or slightly comedogenic fatty oils such as Grapeseed oil. An amazing botanical for the skin. It supports the body’s efforts to repair UV and cell damage, soothes acne, cuts, scraped and abrasion and reduces inflammation.
Castor Oil: 1 comedogenic rating History shows that Castor oil has been used for over 4000 years. It has significant detox and purging properties, which makes it useful for facial blemishes. It is a drying oil, thus is best used with other fatty oils.
Olive Oil: 2 comedogenic rating Nourishing with anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that soften skin texture and assist in skin hydration to reduce signs of aging and blemishes.
Grapeseed Oil: 1 comedogenic rating Rich in vitamin E and suitable for most skin types. It has anti-inflammatory properties helpful for reducing blemishes and absorbs quickly without leaving an oily residue.
Almond Oil: 2 comedogenic rating It’s emollient properties makes Almond oil excellent for acne-prone skin, especially dry acne. It’s a wonderful choice for sensitive skin.
Jojoba Oil: 2 comedogenic rating Very similar to human sebum, thus a wonderful choice for blemish-prone skin, as it balances the production of excess oil. Well tolerated by most, however, some experience an increase in blemishes with initial use, as jojoba helps the body “purge” toxins. Once this is accomplished, the skin is revitalized and feels “healthy."
Testimonies 1. I love, love, love your Sweet Rose Cream. I have been using it on my hands, especially on my hand knuckles, as I use my hands a lot to move around and up and down in my chair and on the bed, as I need to compensate from my weak and worn down lower extremity from Post Polio Syndrome. - Joselyn 2. I love the Rose Cream! It smells absolutely amazing. It really has the subtle scent of a fragrant rose. I like to send it to the female family members as gifts, and my stepmom has almost come to expect it! She says that it is her favorite hand cream. - Lindsay
Container Information: We offer the 2oz bottle in a HDPE container and the 8oz bottle in a PET container. PET and HDPE are inert plastics and are said not leach harmful materials into its contents. PET and HDPE have been used for 20 years and have undergone rigorous testing under FDA guidelines to ensure their safety as food and beverage containers suitable for storage and reuse. We select PET and HDPE packaging because, as plastic goes, they are considered safe, recyclable and convenient. While the FDA deems this plastic safe, we recommend that you error on the side of safety. Never put hot liquids into PET or HDPE plastics or leave them out in the sun.
