Cinnamon Bark is harvested from the young shoots that grow from the stumps of fast-growing trees. The bark is hosts wonderful medicinal uses due to being high in essential oil, coumarins, tannins, magnesium and zinc.

Cinnamon Tincture to support Stabilizing Blood Sugar

If you are troubled by either high or low blood sugar, try this tasty remedy. In concert with a health diet, plenty of exercise and reduction in stress levels, cinnamon can be extremely helpful in regulating blood sugar.
2-4 oz chopped Cinnamon Bark
80-proof alcohol such as Brandy, Vodka or Gin
Place the cinnamon in a widemouthed glass quart jar.
Cover with 2-3 inches of alcohol.
Let steep for 4-6 weeks, shaking daily.
Strain through a fine-mesh, stainless-steel strainer lined with cheese cloth.
Discard the cinnamon, then bottle the liquid.
To Use:
Take 1/4 to 1/2 tsp 2 times a day for 5 days.
Take 2 days off, the repeat the cycle.
Continue in the manner for several weeks, or until the sugar levels normalize.

Cinnamon supplementation could be considered as an additional dietary supplement option to regulate blood glucose and blood pressure levels along with conventional medications to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus."
