Luke 1:37 For with God nothing is ever impossible, and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment.
Internal: Luke 1:37 is suitable for internal use within safe parameters if such use is deemed appropriate. We feel that internal use is rarely *needed* and should only be used with respect for how concentrated the oils are. HEO does not advocate internal use of essential oils without appropriate knowledge and understanding of how to administer, for what purpose, how much, which essential oils, safety concerns and so on. In our experience, essential oils are generally more effective used topically with proper dilution or inhaled. Kurt Schnaubelt, Ph.D. notes that "French aromatherapy literature contains many references to using oils orally." He goes on to note that "generally 1 drop is always enough when ingesting essential oils." A potential toxicity hazard could occur when untrained people use essential oils orally and ingest too much. Keep in mind that while medical doctors or health care practitioners may prescribe essential oils for internal use, they are trained and experienced in the safe application of essential oils. It is not a matter of using "French" or "British" methods, it's a matter of experience and appropriate application. Click here for information about internal usage.
UPDATE (July 2014): Becky wrote after using the blend for 8 months: I am doing well. I have chosen to treat my CLL totally alternative using HEO's essential oils, chinese herbals, diet and most importantly prayer to JEHOVAH. My last white count was 86,000, still non-symptomatic. My doctor said: "Keep doing what you are doing." - Becky
UPDATE (Nov 2015): My white count, as of 3 months ago, is at 300,000 and non-symptomatic. I fight hard everyday. I do have swollen lymph nodes, and rebounding helps with that too. I have modified the essential oils to taking internally a drop every two hours. I also do the following protocol: Daily sauna, coffee enema, moderate exercise, juicing, apricot kernels, Essiac tea, Budwig diet, Chinese herbs, acupuncture and guided imagery. Keeping a positive attitude is vital. Eleven months ago I was given 6-12 months to live, and I have still hung in there. Prayer has been top on my list in helping me to endure. UPDATE (May 2017): I contacted Becky to check on her and she's "hanging in there," but her spleen is enlarged and her white count is rising. In addition to leukemia, Becky has 4 other autoimmune disorders. Chemotherapy is not an option for her due to the high risks with such a high white count combined with multiple chemical sensitvities. Our prayers are with her as she continues to fight this battle.
2. I have had a thyroid cyst for a year and a half now. I went to get a follow-up ultrasound on my Thyroid in May of this year (2018), and the ultrasound showed that it had grown .2 cm (to 2.2 cm) from last year. My doctor ordered a thyroid biopsy, where they would insert a needle into my throat/thyroid to make sure it wasn't cancer. I came home from the ultrasound and the Hopewell website and did a search on "Cysts" and "Cancer." I found Assist, Black Cumin Oil and Luke 1:37. Once I got them, I applied each of them on my throat nightly. The first week of June, I went to the hospital for my thyroid biopsy. The radiologist had me on the table ready to go. First, he had to perform an ultrasound to determine where to insert the needle. He was looking around for a while and then started asking me questions. He brought in 3 other radiologists to look at the ultrasound, and none of them could find it. They couldn't perform the biopsy because there wasn't a cyst there anymore!! I left the appointment so confused, because I had been building my courage up so much for the procedure. It wasn't until I put the key into the ignition that I remembered that the only thing that had changed since the ultrasound the month before was the application Hopewell's oils. I did nothing else different. I have always believed the oils were helping me, but I never thought I would have medical evidence that they worked. I'm not sure which one was the oil that made the difference, so I am just going to keep ordering all three, so that I don't change anything I was doing. Thank you and God Bless you!!! - Karin 3. Brachioradial pruritus is a skin condition where the affected person is troubled by abnormal skin sensations on the outer forearms, upper arms and occasionally on the top of the shoulder. The affected person may describe the sensations as itching, burning, prickling or stinging. I have tried everything and doctors don't know anything about how to treat it or what to do to fix it of course . . . but I have been trying so many things and just want you to know that the Luke 1:37 is what has given me MAJOR relief, so in case someone else asks what to do for Brachioradial pruritus you can tell them. I put 10 drops of Luke 1:37 in a 15mL bottle and then fill the rest with aloe vera gel and coconut oil all from Hopewell. Luke 1:37 has also gotten rid of several basal cell cancers from my face. If the itch is sooo bad that the oils aren't helping right away, I use an ice pack to calm the itch right away and the oils will do the rest. The itch is literally so intense you want to rip your arm off, you can't think . . . its so debilitating. - Yvonne
Avoid contact with the eyes and other sensitive areas. Essential oils are both lipophilic and hydrophobic. Lipophilic means they are attracted to fat— like the membranes of your eyes and skin. They are also hydrophobic, meaning they do not like water. Applying a carrier oil will create another fat for the essential oil to be attracted to other than the membranes of the eyes or skin. Tisserand suggests: "With essential oils, fatty oil has been suggested as an appropriate first aid treatment, though the advantage of saline [eyewash] is that the eyes can be continually flushed, and this is less easy with fatty oil.” We are not aware of a case where essential oil in the eyes caused permanent injury or long-term discomfort, but if you feel concerned, please call your health care provider.
