Dr. Richard L. Hull D.O.
I practiced general surgery and family practice for 32 years in Iola, a town in Southeast Kansas that was 90 miles from a Tertiary Care Hospital. I practiced a full scope of medicine, and in the late 70's found that mainstream medicine did not have answers for many patients, frequently diagnosing these patients with psychosomatic illness or depression thus placing the blame on the patient.
As an Osteopathic Physician, I was trained holistically using manipulation and structural alignment techniques. I was involved with alternative or integrative medicine since the early 80's.
Summary of the path of study and development of my armamentarium of practice since graduation:
- Vitamin and Mineral supplementations
- Nutrition and hyperalimentation to decrease post-surgical complications
- Low carbohydrate diets with low glycemic index foods to treat diabetes and obesity
- Prolotherapy to treat pain and rebuild damaged ligaments and tendons without surgery. I was President of American Osteopathic Association of Prolotherapy and Integrative Pain Management and continue to teach for them.
- Unblock interference fields by using the German developed method of Neurotherapy. These occur from physical and emotional trauma to the body.
- Homeopathic Medicine
- Bioenergetic Medicine used to balance the Meridian of the Body through Acupuncture or Chakra.
I retired in 2008 from mainstream medicine and moved to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Since moving to Mexico, I began studying essential oils and how to use them to heal patients. I have found that Essential Oils have a real benefit to finding answers for HEALING.
